ANTISOCIAL behaviour is a key concern for many residents across Southampton and one which many residents contact me about as a ward councillor.
We at the city council understand the effect this can have on communities and individuals which is why we are taking the issue seriously.
Working with our partners in the police, the fire service, health service and others, the Safer Southampton City Partnership is hosting its annual community safety event on Thursday, September 11, at the Civic Centre in Southampton between 4pm and 8.30pm.
It’s a great opportunity for residents in the city to meet the key agencies responsible for keeping us safe, share your experiences and to see how you can get involved in making Southampton a safer city in which to live, work and visit.
The event is open to all and it would be fantastic to have a good turnout.
COUNCILLOR LEE WHITBREAD, Labour councillor for Redbridge Ward, Southampton City Council.
