IN reply to the letter by Mr D R Smith ‘No cuts’ (Daily Echo, August 29), I am not really interested in politics.

Southampton city councillors D Thomas and K Morrell have got things done in this area. There are quite a few things that they have been able to do.

If there is, or was, a problem they would go back to the council and get it sorted.

Other parties tried to take credit for some, but it was not so.

D Thomas and K Morrell did it.

They come round quite often, where we only see the other councillors when there is voting or they want something done.

Well done Don and Keith, they work for the people in this area, and persist with it.

I can only speak for the immediate area where I live, whereas they cover all of Coxford, and do a lot of work.
