I have just been reading about the Royal Marines in Afghanistan who flew strapped to the sides of the helicopter into enemy territory to rescue a fallen comrade, who sadly was already dead.
Bearing in mind that originally a knighthood was awarded by the sovereign for bravery on the battlefield, do we think that there is any chance that these real heroes will get this honour, rather than pop stars, sports people and Tony's cronies?
Don't hold your breath!
