I AM very sceptical of the advice given by Public Health England, that it has “listened very carefully to all concerns expressed regarding transferring patients’ personal health records to a giant computer database and will put in place safeguards to protect their records.”
This is the same organisation that ignores the concerns expressed by 72 per cent of Southampton residents regarding the introduction of a toxic chemical (fluoride) into our water supply.
To date it is refusing to respond to requests from the local MP and local authorities for a firm commitment not to proceed.
This is unacceptable arrogance from an unelected government quango.
Any assurances from this organisation on public health matters should be treated with contempt.
F J Bright, Totton.
