Months of misery to come for junction work
I CANNOT believe the forecasted time it’s going to take to improve Junction 3 on the M27.
It’s about time our road builders were sent on a fact-finding tour to the USA. They rebuild their roads, with a massive fleet of hi-tech equipment which digs up, crushes and rolls asphalt which can be driven on the next day.
If Hampshire County Council were to pool all their resources and tackle one job at a time in this way, we would not have these protected coned-off works going on into next year.
Areas I might add, which often seem to have nothing happening in them for days on end.
