KEITH Morrell states that parking permits that only apply from 08.30 to 09.30 and 15.00 to 16.00 would not resolve the parking problems encountered in Fairisle Road during school opening and closing times.
Sorry Mr Morrell, they would. Parking permits are an inexpensive solution that could be implemented quickly. They would apply to Fairisle Road, Malin Close and Orkney Close.
Some of us “think outside the box” to find inexpensive solutions to problems in Coxford.
I know Mr Morrell is a councillor, but perhaps he has forgotten that the council has a black hole of £30million and needs to save money by looking for cost effective solutions.
As sure as day follows night, parents will continue to park as close to the school as possible at opening and closing times if there are no restrictions.
That is unless you live in Keith Morrell’s utopia where the sun shines 24/7.
