IN response to the Daily Echo's article about the recent crew meeting at Toronto Court and the now attendance of Millbrook residents.
As a tenant and business owner in Millbrook I never knew of such a meeting.
Mrs Jarrett is wrong in saying the meeting was advertised in local shops. I certainly wasn't approached with a poster, and my premises are in Cumbrian Way (ten yards walk from the local council office).
Furthermore maybe the majority of residents didn't attend the meeting because they've heard all the talk before and wasn't the meeting during the day, when most of us are trying to earn a living?
It's about time this council was run by residents that do care about the communities and don't see it as just a job.
