I AM delighted that the petition Rowenna Davis organised to urge a rethink on the closure of the Bitterne Walk-in Centre has worked for now.

I notice that over 1,000 people so far have signed the petition. Well done Rowenna.

An alternative proposal from the Tories to allow the centre to close and use a pharmacy is surely impractical.
