The Daily Echo reported that New Forest West MP Desmond Swayne shouted "Hallelujah" when told that trouble makers will have their benefits reduced.
How is that going to help matters?
People on benefits are generally quite depressed and fed-up with life, hence they get frustrated.
I appreciate they ought not take that out on the remainder of the public through bad behaviour, however giving people even less to live on will only lead to more violence and crime.
We have created cramped conditions for many human-beings to live and youngsters in particular are expected to become good examples and award themselves with decent jobs.
But the reality is that can prove very difficult.
This is typical of an MP who has no understanding of what is going on in the world, let alone in this country.
New Forest West is probably one of the most wealthy areas in the UK, hardly where a lot of back-street crime is found.
Perhaps Mr. Swayne should try living in a run- down district with just a pounds in his pocket.
Then what about those people who are neighbours from hell and do have a lot of money?
RICHARD GRANT, Burley.
