IT'S a blessing that Mrs J Gale's husband does not bring his Dairy Crest diesel home with him, lest he reawaken her street when he leaves for work (Letters, March 31).
Do Dairy Crest customers have to go to bed with curtains open and lights left on, so their saintly milkmen can check upon their troubled slumbers at 2.30am, or are they nocturnal?
I can see the advantage of having the milk delivered so early, especially when we get hot summer nights. It saves energy, because by breakfast time there is no need to warm it up for your cornflakes!
UNGRATEFULLY AWAKENED, Eastleigh.
