THERE was another dead deer on the side of Marchwood bypass recently and that is the second inside a week.
This has been going on for years now, so when is something going to be done about it?
Warning signs making motorists aware of the possibility of deer on the road may go some way to stop the carnage of these animals.
Admittedly, we will always have small animals dead on the roads, but surely this stretch of the bypass could be fenced to stop the larger animals straying to their deaths.
The council is aware of the problem so why isn't something done, if not for beast then for man? A motorist will surely be killed one day because of deer neglect.
