NOTHING has been done about the travellers at Riverside Park.
They are enjoying the park and do nothing to pay for its up keep, unlike residents.
Maybe if all Bitterne Park people bought a caravan or tent and pitched it on the park and invited all their friends to drive around in our cars and leave rubbish everywhere would we be allowed to stay!
Let me tell our MP John Denham that the character of the city is changing because when something needs to be done for the local people it does not happen unless you have money and know the right people.
It should be time to look after the places and people how live there, not others who do not.
STEVE ADAMS, Bitterne Park, Southampton.
