A RECENT article in the Daily Echo concerning the Tyrrell & Green site, referred to the funds to be used for northern Above Bar and a revamp of Guildhall Square.
The next paragraph said that the council would market the nearby disused C&A building. At the present time this is occupied by Mostyns and another firm and has been for some time, so how can it be disused?
Are Mostyns to move elsewhere?
NAME AND ADDRESS SUPPLIED.
A Southampton City Council spokesman replies: Ever since C&A vacated the building in 2001 it has been the intention that the site would be redeveloped. The building was let out on a short-term basis to Mostyns until this development takes place.
