THE Eastleigh link of the Chernobyl Children's Life Line charity is having youngsters over from Belarus and it needs families to host children for four weeks in July.
Due to the long-lasting after effects of the nuclear disaster, many children contract serious illness and the purpose of having them to stay is to boost their immune systems and to give them a great holiday.
This is achieved by clean fresh air and the host families giving the children a good diet including fresh fruit and vegetables, which are too expensive for the children to have at home.
The charity organisers take the children out on various trips throughout their stay.
If you can help with hosting or want to find out more about the charity then please phone me on 023 8061 9801.
