I AM 52 years old and I lost both my legs following an accident as a child. I also have epilepsy and right sided hemiplegia.
On June 2 I will be setting out from my home at the National Society for Epilepsy (NSE) in Buckinghamshire and cycling, with the support of three carers, 430 miles to Edinburgh to raise money for NSE's epilepsy research.
The journey will take me eight days and I aim to prove that with dedication, commitment and determination I can achieve great things.
The greatest incentive on my journey will be the knowledge that I am helping to raise money for the UK's leading epilepsy charity.
I would like to encourage your readers to sponsor my effort. A safe and secure contribution can be made online at www.justgiving.com/team-seager or by calling the NSE's fundraising team on 01494 601410.
PAUL SEAGER, National Society for Epilepsy.
