ON the coach to see ATC Totton play at Wembley we had an accident which involved a bus and lorry, it left us with no glass in our door and no mirror.
The driver suffered a few cuts and boy had a minor cut to his face.
At Wembley we had a great time, despite the score.
On the way home smelt burning, problems with clutch, we spent an hour at the roadside in Ealing, then had to get back on the coach and see how far we got as no other coaches were available to come and get us. By this time the kids on the coach were getting scared. We got as far as Richmond where we spent three hours waiting for a coach whhich had just dropped Totton fans off to come back and get us.
It finally arrived at 10.45pm. We got to the M271 then this coach had clutch problems as well, and we were stranded once again!
One man ran home to Redbridge to get his car and drove some of us to Totton to get our cars and return to the coach to get the others.
We finally arrived home at 1am - what a day out!
S MCGLEAD, Totton.
