IN the space of walking from Primark to Woolworths I was stopped three times by people carrying clipboards working for a London hospital.
It was raining and I didn't have my raincover on my pushchair and my five month old baby was getting wet.
The first man who stopped me was very rude, Then I was stopped again by a man who stood dead in front of my pushchair, blocking my way.
I explained that his colleague had been very rude to me and kept walking only to be harassed by a woman who kept shoving a small bag at me and talking beside me as I walked into the shop.
I thought charity was all about giving. I give to charity shops and I buy from them. I put my spare change into recognised collection tins, but to be hounded for my bank details in the street is just really rude.
I understand that charities are desperate for money but there are ways and means of getting it and preying on mums with pushchairs and pensioners just isn't right. We are are the ones with a lesser income. I must add that this isn't the first time it has happened.
