ON WEDNESDAY, June 13, I had minor a head surgery bandaged at a doctor's surgery.
On June 15 I went back to the surgery at 9am because I was worried about the surgery and dressing. The receptionist said they only had one nurse on duty and no appointments were available that day and I would have to go to the NHS walk-in centre in Shirley.
I explained the situation to them and was told they don't keep dressings and I would have to buy them or collect them from a doctor's surgery.
What is this country coming to? I have worked all my life and this is the service I get.
If someone had an injury outside or local to a NHS walk-in centre they have to get someone to get their dressings and make a weekend appointment.
It looks like they are not supporting the doctor's surgery or hospitals.
