I AM a great friend of Michael Cox who was recently jailed for failing to pay more than £40,000 he owed to the Child Support Agency. I knew him from when we set up the group for Fathers4Justice.
The magistrates at Southampton should be ashamed of themselves.
Here is a man who is devoted to his children and has joint custody of them he looks after them, clothes them and the arrangements have been agreed with both parties.
So why is the CSA interfering and insisting he pays all this money? Would they do this if he had been given custody and not the mother?
So many children lose contact with their father because your system is so unfair, it's time it changed.
