ISN'T it rich? Gordon Brown is left with the results of our illegal, unwanted (by more than 50 per cent of the nation) invasion of Iraq and the Middle East, while Tony Blair leaves in a cloud of euphoric spin followed by media rumours of his intended job of peace envoy for the United Nations, based in Jerusalem. Surely somebody is having a laugh!

Tony's apparent knowledge of the Middle East, together with George Bush's, must surely be cabable of being written on the back of a cigarette packet.

For years British diplomacy has been playing one Arab country against another in the interest of preventing all out conflict. Internicine strife is their way of life, even Lawrence had a job uniting them in the First World War!

So Tony Blair follows the naivety of George Bush into Iraq, inflicting devastating damage to Baghdad, leaving them without electricity and water in a desert-based country. Inevitably they get upset, hot headed elements blow themselves up in our streets, desperation?

Of course the police and intelligence now have to spend our scarce, hard earned cash to track them down. Gordon Brown, what a legacy is yours! Leave them to it? Get out?
