In reply to Tom Spring-Smyth (Letters, July 4), I would like to point out that since electing Nigel Farage as leader we have been the only party to increase our membership.
An MEP who is under investigation has been suspended from UKIP in the same way he would have been suspended by any other party.
Our MEPs deliver on what they promised as well as our elected representatives.
Unlike other parties we do not promise what we can't deliver.
If Mr Spring-Smyth would like a debate on delivery of policy and commitments then I would be glad to debate with him but he would have to come up with some better arguments then he has so far.
RYAN NEWELL, chairman, UKIP Southampton.
