THERE is now a ban on smoking nearly everywhere, which I think is disgraceful.
Why don't the Government start on the drinkers next?
Drinking is self-inflicted, as are the illnesses caused by drinking. When people get drunk some of them kill innocent people, by stabbing, drink- driving etc. They use foul language to anyone, they smash bottles in the street, but what has the Government done about it? They let the pubs stay open 24 hours, so more people can drink all day if they want to and the price of drink goes up by pence.
If everyone gave up smoking where will the government get all that tax from that smoking generates?
Pensioners yet again I suppose or those of us that still smoke for pleasure.
