I WOULD like to reply to Etta Hart's letter of July 13.
Although her mother has my sympathy for her accident, the ambulance service is there to provide an emergency service to those in urgent need. Surely Etta Hart understands this and that other services provided must take second priority?
The ambulance driver was quite right to point out it was not his job, he was probably feeling under immense pressure to carry on with his emergency duties as the ambulance service is extremely stretched.
Please applaud our ambulance crews for the service they provide instead of critising.
VICKI HARRISON, Romsey.
