WE have read with interest all the letters about the demise of Radio Solent's Ancient and Modern programme at 8am on Sundays. We certainly agree with what has been written, especially as there is now no listener participation whatsoever.
However, all is not lost; we now tune in at 8.10am to Radio 4 and listen to the service. One recent Sunday it came from Llangollen in north Wales and the address was given by Terry Waite. It was excellent, especially the singing. We can recommend it!
