I CHALLENGE Matthew Pentland of Yell (Letters, July 7) to adopt a different approach, and stop the apparent blanket delivery of Yellow Pages to all addresses listed in the telephone directory, and issue a freephone number to enable those who can't live without it, to ring and request delivery.
I'm sure the number of these tomes that need to be recycled, difficult or not, would be reduced by at least 50 per cent if not more.
