ONE reads constantly complaints about hospital care (or the lack of it). I feel it is not as often praised, as it should be.
I was admitted into the Princess Anne Hospital on July 21 for day surgery (Bramshaw women's ward). If I had paid for treatment (as I have in the past) I would not have been treated any quicker or better than I was. Both the consultant and the staff couldn't do enough to make me feel relaxed and confident.
I must highly commend the staff on the ward, as the standard of hygiene was impeccable, every one of them who entered disinfected their hands at all times.
They are a very happy and professional team and I am very grateful to them as I'm sure other patients are.
