I AM researching a documentary series on the men and women who worked on the Home Front during the Second World War to make the weapons, unload the ships, dig the coal, nurse the injured and produce the food that Britain needed to survive - and ultimately win the war.

I would like to hear from people who worked in the aircraft and munitions industries, on the railways, in the mines, in the emergency services, by the sea and docks and on the land. All worked long hours, withstanding bomb attacks and separation from loved ones to do their bit for the country. I am interested in memories of the pride, camaraderie, danger and sacrifice made by young men and women on the Home Front.

If you are in your eighties, nineties or hundreds and have a moving personal story to tell please contact me.
