I WOULD definitely like to see an ice rink in Southampton. I love ice skating and I have never seen an ice rink in Southampton in my life. I have always had to travel to Gosport to be able to skate.
Ice skating is a great form of exercise for all ages. It gets the whole family to enjoy time together and it would be a great attraction for everyone.
Also, why would we need a maritime museum, when we already have one?
Please, please, please, put an ice-rink in as soon as possible and give us children something to do. I am sure that many agree.
Having an ice rink in Southampton has been mentioned now and again in the Daily Echo for ages but nothing has been done about it.
