IN Hampshire Heritage (Daily Echo, August 11) it was stated that no monument or tablet exists to the memory.of artist Frederick Lee Bridell.
In the old Southampton cemetery on the Common there is a monument to his parents John and Amelia Bridell. On the stone is the inscription "Frederick Lee Bridell, landscape painter, died 20th August 1863, interred in Brompton Cemetery.
