EARLIER this year Which? launched a new health campaign looking at non-surgical cosmetic treatments like Botox, collagen fillers and chemical peels.
We believe that the regulations currently covering these procedures are inadequate and not fully enforced.
Laser hair removal is the most popular non-surgical cosmetic treatment, but at the moment there are around 3,000 unlicensed providers operating in the UK.
This is leaving many people at risk of visiting a practitioner who does not fully explain or understand the risks involved.
In fact, we have heard from a number of people who have been badly burned, scarred or blistered when having laser hair removal.
We now want to hear from other people with similar experiences so that we can assess the true extent of this problem.
