I WAS very disappointed with the intolerance of Jayanti Shah's letter about Saints kit man, Malcolm Woggy' Taylor (August 20).
To describe a middle-aged man's long-term nickname as racist is wrong and to link this to the Racism Just Isn't Saintly campaign is not acceptable.
When did the word Woggy become racist? In my knowledge it is not a word I have ever heard used, apart from in relation to Malcolm Taylor's nickname. I accept that part of the word Woggy used to be used as racist term, but then part of the words snigger and cocoon could also be termed racist.
Are these words no longer acceptable too?
Unfortunately I do not see anything positive in this message from Jayanti Shah of the Positive Message Group, Southampton.
