WHILE not begrudging the fun of the young ladies with tractor (Daily Echo, August 22) I do challenge the authenticity of their garments.
Airtex shirts, fawn dungarees, or breeches with knee-high turn-over top socks were our usual dress, and to my knowledge boiler suits were never official issue. Maybe another reader could oblige with a picture.
