DOES Southampton City Council realise that there is a structure large enough to hold a new ice ring, a maritime museum, a Spitfire museum, plus bars, shops and a hotel already in existence? A structure capable of opening up the waterfront and providing the city's wow factor.
Bring home the Queen Mary! If based in a restored King George V dry dock the industrial crane with a preservation order on it might get a passing glance from the public!
