I SUPPOSE it must have been Councillor Sue Jackson's turn to wear the Liberal Democrat blinkers (Letters, August 25). The MEP to whom she referred was kicked out of UKIP within 48 hours of his misdemeanours being discovered. He now sits as an independent.
As for his behaviour not being tolerated by the voters, I recall the disgusting behaviour of a Lib Dem MP who had a penchant for rent boys which was acceptable to his party.
