COUNCILLOR Dave Beckett's letter Improved After Labour (August 27) tried desperately to make the point that Lib Dems' four years of running the authority has made Southampton a better place.
Oh dear, Cllr Beckett, why do you think the Lib Dems are in political meltdown in Southampton?
Do not just look at places like my own ward of Coxford, look at Peartree, better still look at your own ward of Swathling. Wake up and smell the coffee! All over Southampton the writing is on the wall for the party which belongs to an earlier time The Lib Dems are the party of the past.
