AFTER reading the Alternative Beach Guide (Daily Echo, August 23), I realised that whoever wrote it could have not visited Weston Shore!
It mentioned that unusual things get washed up, like nappies, needles ans lots of rubbish.
I know they are trying to make it a better place but how can it be compared to Bournemouth?
It is very close to beautiful places like Victoria Country Park and Netley Abbey but it is a far cry from a family day out.
Who wants to see Fawley smog one way and Weston's tower blocks behind you?
I live near the shore and hope in the future it will be a place to spend the day with the family but not yet.
