A SURVEY we recently commissioned showed that about half of people do not know about the link between cancer risk and lifestyle.
The science community has known about this for years, but unfortunately the message still does not seem to be getting through to the public.
At World Cancer Research Fund we spread the message about the link between diet and lifestyle, and I am writing to let youknow that you can make a real difference to your risk of developing cancer by making a few simple changes to the way you live.
In fact, research suggests that up to 40 per cent of cancers could be prevented just by eating healthily, being physically active and maintaining a healthy weight.
