WE have just returned from a wonderful preview tour of Ventura, P&Os newest addition to their fleet. As winners of a competition run by the Daily Echo, we would like to thank you for making this possible. We think it is very important that citizens of Southampton are involved in such celebrations. Southampton City Council and Cunard staged a very successful Victorian fayre to celebrate the new Queen Victoria's arrival, and later this month we are all invited to join in with a Caribbean themed event to mark the launch of Royal Caribbean's Independence of the Seas. We live in a great City - let's applaud the positives!
