I am one of 20 young people aged 16-25 who volunteers as a co-ordinator on the Agents4Change campaign. Our mission is to try and recruit 12,000 other young people across the country to take part in community projects.
Each Agent is based at locations across the country and what's more, the campaign is supporting my volunteering by helping with accommodation and giving me a small weekly living allowance.
Being an Agents4Change volunteer has given me excellent first-hand experience in project management, PR and marketing, which hopefully will impress any future employer.
The campaign, run by CSV and supported by Tesco and the youth volunteering charity v, is now looking for more young volunteers and I would recommend any young person keen to make a lasting difference and have a lot of fun along the way, apply straight away.
To find our more about becoming an Agent or other full-time volunteer opportunities at CSV visit www.csv.org.uk or call 0800 374 991.
