IN response to the letters regarding Mayflower Park, I totally agree with them all.
I think it's an absolute disgrace, and wonder if there was any consultation over this.
Is there something we are missing as to why 75 per cent of the area is now cordoned off?
If there is a valid reason I think we should know.
Who was responsible for putting this play area next to the toilets? I bet the local paeodphiles are having a field day.
When I went there with my son there were a total of 20 people there and it was full up! What is it going to be like in the summer? I really think if this is all for the sake of the boat show someone's head needs to roll! And there was I thinking that parks and play areas were crucial in our children''s upbringing and health.
