THERE we had it, the Southampton wow factor, for so long searched for by our council.
On Tuesday, all three Queens were in port at the same time!
The council did nothing to take advantage of this once in a lifetime experience.
No party.
No music.
No chance for the public to get out on the water to see the three ships together.
No apparent attempt to get even local media coverage or even in the council's City View magazine and no national or international attention.
Why did we not use this great event to promote our city?
We seem to have plenty of spare cash to pay someone to see if a Spitfire can stand on its tail or if you can burn four green candles in the Civic Centre clock tower, so why not spend some on this?
