WE were very pleased to see your photos of the three Queens on April 23.
My uncle, John Reid, worked on the QEII in John Brown's yard Clydebank from the time the keel was laid.
When we visited him at his home in 1966 he said that we should come again in September 1967 and he would arrange tickets for our family to attend the launch.
He duly did this and we attended the launch in the shipyard, my daughter Heather, son John and my wife Irene and myself.
KEN CLARK, Whitchurch.
