I LIVE about 50 metres from the Centenary Quay site. It looks like a fantastic project with lots of jobs, but it would be like building a superstore and tower block in the middle of a roundabout with a river on the left of it.
Residents, like me, opposite the site would have to sell up because of the wind tunnel from the tower blocks coming from the south west. I am definitely opposed to the scheme.
We may as well sell our cars too. I wonder if developer Crest Nicholson's staff would drive two miles in the opposite direction from the city centre and get a bus.
