ON behalf of all the participating charities, may I thank all the animal-concerned people who came to our animal charities bazaar on April 26?
Just under £1,000 was raised in the two hours by the very deserving causes attending (plus £100s in pre-bazaar donations) even though two of our charities were at the last moment unable to come.
We must thank the Echo reporter for his round-up' mention on the 25th and your adverts.
The next bazaar is on October 25, again in Highfield Church Centre, another opportunity to show that Southampton is indeed (as estimated by the RSPCA) the most animal-welfare-supported area in the UK.
SHEILA CLAYTON, Southampton.
