IT seems to me rather odd that a soldier who is prepared to put his life on the line, cannot take a bit of light-hearted banter.
Who decides that a certain word is racist and another is not?
I have been called names ,as I am sure just about everyone else reading this letter has experienced. Do we complain? I doubt it. We simply move on and forget about it. As the saying goes “Sticks and Stones may break my bones, but names will never harm me’’.
As for the soldier himself, has he actually complained or is it simply a case of the media looking for a story at Prince Harry’s expense.
