THE addition of fluoride to the public water supply is both immoral and illegal. Water companies have been ordered to clean up the water supply in the past and this they have done, now they are shackled by a government ruling to do so.
I wrote to the consultation body to register my vote against the addition of fluoride.
As 72 per cent were against it, they have completely ignored a democratic vote and I am angry that my choice has been taken away. Totton does not have a bad problem, so why should we be penalised by a few 'rotten apples in a barrel'.
The people who made this decision are not elected and I doubt they will be affected by this addition. I wrote to them and stated at last nine reasons why fluoride should not be added, they never acknowledged my letter, especially my concerns the effect this may have on my under-active thyroid gland.
Fluoride in the water supply. NO, NO, NO.
