I am writing to encourage your readers to get walking this spring by organising a Crocus Walk for Breakthrough Breast Cancer. I have been supporting this fantastic charity for many years and breast cancer is a cause close to my heart, having seen the devastating effects of the disease first hand. This March I’ll be organising a Crocus Walk with friends and family to raise funds for Breakthrough’s vital research, campaigning and awareness work.

Organising a Crocus Walk is a really easy way to do you bit for breast cancer research. Simply choose a date, place and time and then invite friends and family to join you. The walk could be a stroll in the park or a hike in the hills and can involve a few friends or your entire community.

Over 46,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in the UK and Breakthrough needs your help to ensure they can continue funding vital research into the causes, treatment and prevention of breast cancer.

Holding a Crocus Walk is a great opportunity for me to spend some quality time with my family and friends while having a good walk and raising money for a cause close to my heart. For more information visit www.crocuswalk.org.uk or call 0845 059 7707.

By taking part you’ll be helping Breakthrough achieve their vision – a future free from the fear of breast cancer.

Get walking, get fit and have fun.
