NEVER mind a vote of no-confidence in the House of Commons Speaker (that is, the chairman of the House of Commons), I know I am not alone in thinking many of our politicians in parliament have their snouts in the trough, and should be sacked at the very least.
Surely, the only honourable thing to do now is for the Queen to dissolve this whole rotten mess, and for the British public to vote for a new parliament, re-electing those members who have been honest and hardworking, and snubbing those corrupt blaggers who have ripped us all off.
Can we hear support from our local MPs and prospective parliamentary candidates for an immediate general election? If the existing MPs have done a good job, they will be re-elected, however, if their constituents feel they have let us down, they will be rightly and properly replaced.
Matt Probert, Southampton.
