I HAVE heard only one of the three main party leaders, Mr Clegg, state that he considered that all profits made by MPs , on property purchased with tax payers money, should be returned to the tax payers.
This seems fair as it was indeed our money invested so why should we not see the profits. This is the normal situation in commercial transactions and of course the money would not be coming out of the M P’s pockets but from the subsequent purchasers. So, no complaints there. Is there?
Or, if they wish they could have the right to purchase, at current market valuation, with the money deducted from their large severance payments.
Any MPs leaving because they have been found out should be denied access to a Peerage otherwise we could see them returned to power as an unelected phony crony, which is the current situation.
