I KNOW, that the Echo has a great reputation for printing the truth even though that truth may not quite reflect the views of the editor. I wonder if that attitude would extend to printing a disclaimer of facts in the Daily Mail editorial comment on the 12th January, a copy of which I enclose.
"The editor congratulates David Cameron upon being the first leader of a mainstream party to have the courage to speak out and demand curbs on immigration. It also praises the Archbishop of Canterbury for making similar comments."
This statement is completely wrong and misleading, there is a mainstream party, which is almost completely ignored by our biased press, which has beaten both Labour and the Lib Dems in recent elections and that is the UKIP, this party has been deeply concerned about uncontrolled immigration for years and has stated unequivocally in its Manifesto that it will freeze all permanent immigration (except for genuine asylum seekers who fear for their lives) and allow the current mess to be sorted out.
Although the press and the media are all deeply involved in the conspiracy of silence towards the UKIP (the tame national press and the present established political parties like the present its out turn system) but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time, the public are sick and tired of the unskilled incompetent juvenile cheats who have held the levers of power for far too long.
They realise that Cameron is only a Blair (Mk 2) and before long the voice of the public will be heard the day the UKIP is dawning.
